$15,000 South African Reserve Bank - FinTech, Entrepreneurship, and Rolling Electricity Outages (Principal Investigator).

$110,000 Grand Challenges 'Stars in Global Health' (Principal Investigator: designed studies, wrote proposal). Project Webpage. The program supports Bold Ideas with Big Impact from the best and brightest scientists and innovators, to address the most pressing global health challenges. It provides funding to explore transformative ideas that bring together scientific/technical, social and business innovation.
